I wanna wax down there but I'm not too sure about it. Should I get a home waxing kit or go to a Salon? Any ideas?

I'd go to a salon, personally!

Salon all the way! You should watch the episode of my show Real Women/Real Sexy "Wax On Wax Off" I explain the different waxes available and we show one of the girls getting one!link

salon would be your best bet. they know what they're doing. there's less chance of causing any damage, like burning or pulling off a little bit of skin.

Definitely go to a salon. If you use a home waxing kit, chances are you will put the hot wax on and then not be able to pull it off because it'll hurt. The first time I got waxed down there, it was pretty painful (although I have sensitive skin), and the woman who did mine was very kind and understanding that it was my first time, so she walked me through it quite thoroughly.
A salon will range from $40-80 depending where you go (I know that seems like a big range- it's normally around $50ish, but I've seen both higher and lower). Make sure a couple of days after you wax, regardless if you try to do it yourself or go to a salon, you exfoliate because it will help with any ingrown hairs. Also, don't moisturize right after you get waxed because that will give you ingrown hairs like you wouldn't believe (personal experience).
I highly recommend a salon because they're trained in what they do, and if you change your mind halfway through, most places will not charge you (or at least won't charge full price).

A salon for the first few times (those hurt the most) then I would recommend gradually tying to wax yourself
