It really depends on the reason behind the celebration....
For most celebrations, milestones or awesome news I like a beer, Latte/chai tea or a caramel malt. I will rarely have a glass of wine or champagne--but that happens about once or twice per year.

Hm. I drink cocktails and wines when I'm out with friends. For special occasions, it depends on who's the person that I'm with. =] I've been known to order milkshakes on my own birthdays though.
