If his penis has gone inside another opening that's not a mouth, I'd say he wasn't a virgin anymore. Anal virginity is a different thing.

That's actually an interesting question. One of my girlfriends when I was young (we were both virgins) didn't want to get pregnant under any circumstances so she was going to let me have her ass. Which was so sweet! So I was able to get in her, but both of us being young an inexperienced the pain got to be too much for her and we stopped before I was able to cum. I didn't really feel like I wasn't a virgin anymore because I wasn't able to achieve orgasm by penetration even though I had been all the way in her. So I guess my answer is the first time you are able to achieve orgasm by an orifice besides a mouth.

I honestly don't know but I'd have to say either vaginal or anal penetration.

climaxing inside a vagina. a person can insert the penis an inch or so for a few seconds, but that's not really sex. ideally sex/virginity losing would be when both people win, but if that was the case we'd suddenly have an extra billion virgins or so.

I'd go with penetration, but lean to vaginal. That leads to another curious question though. How many straight men penetrated a female ass before penetrating a vagina?

In my opinion the word "sex" means penis-in-vagina. Not anal sex, not oral sex, not jacking off. There is a word for all of those activities. For example, oral sex. Oral sex is oral sex, not sex. Sex, like I said to me, is PIV. I just call them by their actual names, and consider losing one's virginity to be only PIV type of sex.

And no, I do not believe that you actually have to have an orgasm (with PIV sex) in order for it to be considered sex. If your penis has ever gone inside a vagina (one slip, one stroke, doesn't matter) then your virginity is no longer in existence. This is my opinion. Sex is not sex only when you've orgasmed. That would be called an orgasm! Sex is when you've had intercourse. Coming during sex is when you've had 1. intercourse which 2. leads to the orgasm.

Yippeee.

i think i would count oral...if i were the guy, i would count oral. anal for sure! and vaginal is obvious. i might even count getting an HJ...if it were me. if it were another guy, probably vag or anal.

but then, consider what you would count as cheating for a married man. a little different list there...right?

What does it mean to lose virginity? It's losing innocence and ignorance about sex. It's "knowing".

I definitely went from sexually innocent to sexually knowing when I gave my best friend a blowjob to completion in HS. I know there are blowjobs that don't mean that much, but I experienced another person's sexual parts and orgasm as intimately and lovingly as humanly possible and that's something I still remember every tiny detail about.

A year later, when I had PIV sex for the first time with my first serious girlfriend, it was also a passage into a new realm of knowledge. I felt like that was the moment I fully became a man.

Years later, having anal sex for the first time was another passage. They were all significant events and significant losses of innocence. But I've always been glad to have lost that innocence and to know what I know.

It is certainly an interesting question. I would lean more toward intercourse. So a penis penetrating a vagina, however, if it is two men, they would call anal sex as losing your virginity because it is a type of intercourse. So I suppose vaginal and anal penetration. I would not count anything else though.

Becoming incrementally more and more intimate with a partner is what you're talking about isn't it?
At what point does one pop his head up and say "OMG, I'm no longer a virgin!" Really?
Come on, it doesn't really matter, does it?

Anal and vaginal penetration. Not oral.
