What is your earliest memory?

What is the earliest thing you can remember, and how old were you when it happened?

My earliest memory I think was when I was maybe a year old, and I had to have surgery for a blocked tear duct. I remember lying on my back and screaming and crying on the table or whatever as a doctor stood over me in front of a bright light and then everything went dark. Pretty sure they only reason I can still remember it is because of how traumatizing it was at the time.

Getting my diaper changed. I also remember some traumatizing vaccination experiences. A good idea for parents out there: If five nurses are trying to hold your kid down to give them a shot, you should probably ask for numbing cream. I developed a lifelong phobia over that one incident. =/

Age 3, my grandfather gave me a coke bottle and I went around the house dancing in my big girl panties, singing at the top of my lungs, wearing grampy's boots, and shaking that bottle. OTL. WHAT was the matter with me? MY MOTHER GOT PICTURES OF THAT.

I was 3 and my little cousin and I were playing with blocks. I built a tower and was calling to my gramma to come see it. Then the bitch WALKED RIGHT THE HELL THROUGH MY TOWER, demolishing it. I was like, "Why did you do that?" and she was all, "I just wanted to walk straight!" (verbatim)

What the hell? Childhood is so hard :p
