Rubies... though there is something really classy about emeralds. Not really into diamonds, opals or topazes. Pearls are ok, sapphires are cool, amethysts are too light a purple for my taste. My birthstone is aquamarine but it's too light a blue.

Part of our business deals with the jewelry market, so we see a lot of interesting stones. There are many - including Cat Eyes and Tourmalines - that are more rare and more beautiful than some of the more well-known stones.

Agreed, well I like them in jewelry too, though I would never waste any money on such stuff (as there are muchmuch more useful and fun things out there than friggin (and let's say expensive) jewelry), and I don't have any favorites - but yep, I like em, they are also amazing for healing and other magickal/spiritual purposes... ^^

I love rubies, and my partner loves sapphires. I do like a lot of gems though, especially these special opals from Australia, they're just gorgeous!

I love sapphires because I can get rough dirt and find my own from a mine located about 18 miles form my house. I have sooo many.

However my favorite has to be emeralds...it is both mine and my husband's birthstone.

Honestly, there are only a very few I don't like. It's funny, I've never considered myself a ruby kind of girl, but my partner got me a beautiful ruby necklace with diamonds on it - and that's the one I wear the most, simply because it goes with the majority of my clothes.

I love opals, but onyx is lovely, too. And aquamarine. Honestly, I like shiny things. Not big into jewelry, but it's hard for me not to look at it on other people.

Out of the list you gave, pearls. But I cannot wear pearls.

I prefer silver with Baltic Amber. That is my favourite stone. I prefer the flame colour over the yellow though and the more impure it is the more I adore it.

Firestone Opal is my absolute favorite! I like amethyst, it's my birthstone, but opal has been my fav since I was about 6 and my mom took me to the smoky mtns. and bought me the most gorgeous pair of opal earrings, my very first pair! I make jewelry and the colors I work with the most are opal and the pretty turquoise blue gems.
