I don't like the edges either....but I know some people who ask for the edge. I'm all about cake to icing ratio.

Not a big fan of icing and I don't dig sprinkles either. I've been known to bake cupcakes and not ice them at all.

I like all parts of the cake, assuming it doesn't have sprinkles all over it. Extra points for a layer of fruit filling instead of icing, if it's a layered cake.

I usually will scrape off all the frosting from the cake. Ever since I cut out sugar, I just don't like the taste of frosting.
