I have a friend that will not start her day until she reads her horoscope. I enjoy reading mine occasionally and unless it is spot on, I make fun of it. I have another friend that thinks it is a bunch of crap. What is your take on it and why?

They're fun to read, I will occasionally compare what they say to things that actually happen, but I don't really believe in them or use them to predict my day.

I know of one man who lived his life according to his horoscope for a year. Was quite interesting. Personally, I don't put much stock in it.

It's crap. They are always average to good, never bad. (On a 1 to 10, they are 4-10, never a 1-3)

I"ll read mine occasionally, but I never put any stock into it. Sometimes I've gone "huh, that was pretty spot on" but I know that's a coincidence since most of the time I'm looking at it going "you obviously have no idea what my regular day consists of" lol.

I read mine religiously, but only at the end of the day. Reading it at the beginning influences my decisions and has resulted in a few missteps in my life because of it. And I don't care who thinks I'm nuts for doing so. It's comforting to me and is a nice conclusion to my day. It's almost always accurate and not in a general sense.

Horoscopes are written intentionally vaguely, I think that both daily horoscopes and astrology in general are worthless at best, and actually kind of dangerous for giving people an 'out' from free will at worst.
That said, the horoscopes in the Onion are hilarious, I usually read the whole batch.

I sometimes read them for fun, but on the whole I consider them to be complete hogwash. I'd probably feel the same way even if they weren't extremely vague and often inaccurate.
