I enjoy drinking the crappy macro beers or whatever the big names are. To me, it doesn't really matter. I'll take a hard cider over a beer any day, and Budweiser over Corona, and if I have to drink Corona it has to have a lime in it or it makes me want to chain smoke. I also enjoy drinking wine. I like the texture and the body of red wines, but they're often too dry for my taste, so I'll sip on white wines that are normally a bit sweeter. I made some wine myself, but it fermented too long and now it's more like a liquor, lol.

I also enjoy rum. I'll mix it with just about anything and drink it straight if it's sweet enough. And I've found one rum I can drink straight. It's delicious in like, everything, lol.

I like vodka, especially Russian vodka. I like to drink red wine a lot though and mostly drink that although sometimes I like to drink vodka and get a bit wild.

Depends on the situation for me, I think.

Beer - If there are enough on hand to not have to worry about running out. Then it CAN'T be a typical American beer. They're way too watery for my tastes. I like Killians and Brown's. Mickey's is great malt liqueur though.

Rum is great if you're drinking with a few other people and can mix it with grape juice (spiced rum is best for this).

Sam, try banana rum or one of the other fruit rums. Over crushed ice in the summer they rock!

I've been wanting to try a banana rum actually. The one that I drink on its own is a vanilla rum and it's fairly syrupy. My friend hates it, but I love it. But since it's almost out, it's time to buy another bottle soon, so I'll look for a fruit one!

I try to avoid sugar when im getting my drink on lol. I go for good white tequila. My latest favorite is a brand called el espolon. Shots with a good chaser (mikes hard does the job well) and im good

I don't drink alcohol. Sometimes I have half of a glass of champange on New Year's Eve. If I have more than that, I become obnoxious.

Last year, we went to bed a few minutes after midnight, as our guests cancelled, and My Man brought me a glass of champagne in the late afternoon. I drank half of it, and promptly fell asleep.

I can't drink booze.

Although a few weeks ago I was in the liquor store with My Man (he drinks enough for two of us) and I wanted him to buy me some absinthe. It was about $45.00 a bottle so he said no. Probably for the best. Although Anthony Bordain said good, French absinthe tastes like lemonade. I would like to try it one day.

A glass of whiskey and a glass of water is my standard at a bar. For sipping---I'd rather enjoy the flavor than take a shot.

At home, I like whiskey, scotch, or (if we're commiserating instead of celebrating) gin. Dark beers are nice too, but I can usually only drink one beer per evening. I also like Irish cream or brandy in the winter.

Never never never any mixers.

I don't drink that often, especially with my kidney problems as of late. But when I do, I like a lot of different things. Stout beer, red wine, martinis, rum in just about anything...
