What's on when you work?

Sometimes I listen to music at work, but other times it's too busy and I need to leave the headphones off to pay attention to what's going on.

I am a commercial pilot and I am not allowed to have any distractions while at work. I do think some music would be nice, especially when flying out in the middle of nowhere, like when I fly out to Denver.

I like to throw in a movie I've seen a bazillion times. I don't physically talk much during the day so it's nice to hear someone else speak every now and again.

I absolutely hate trying to do anything in silence. At my job my clients usually have their TV going, so it keeps it from being quiet. Or often times, they're sitting there rattling on about their day and how sick they've been.

When I am trying to work on something on my computer, I hate having any other noise. I will get upset if my cats or someone interrupts me. The one thing I ABSOLUTELY hate is when my boyfriend decides to pull out my Nintendo DS and play that while I am writing a term paper or something. He will turn the volume all the way down, but the sounds of the buttons being pressed just annoys me way too much.

At the places I've worked at, they store played music so it wasn't really by choice. But when I'm studying or doing homework I generally before silence.

Music. At work we either have NPR(boring) or just the plain radio. Depending on who is working. If the boss is in. We listen to NPR. At home it the TV.
