I actually have a few answers to this. I have a Sweater of my dad's from when he was in college - it's the most ridiculous thing ever, and I actually can't imagine him wearing it. My prom dress was from the 30's, I think (we researched it when I picked it up at a yard sale for $3, and it turned out to be worth a ridiculous amount of money online). The oldest thing of my own that I both own and frequently wear is actually three pairs of blue jeans that I got when I was in 8th grade. They were the only things that I could find that fit me well and cost my parents almost $50 each, which was a huge deal at the time, but they can't say that I didn't make them last!

I have an old oversized men's sleep shirt that i've had for like 8 years that i still like to sleep in, it's getting quite frayed cause i use it so often, but it's nice and soft.

I'm not sure - but the suit & shoes that I wore to church for Easter - is 14 years old. I don't out grow them, don't care about fashion and take good care of them - sooooo - they last a loooooong time!

There was a very old nirvana shirt I bought second hand. I wore it until it literally dropped. During pogo (or moshing) and I stood there half nude at the concert. That's punkrawk.
ATM I don't haver very old pieces of clothing. It seems to me that the quality dropped drastically during the last few years. After wearing a shirt or a pair of trousers for more than one year you may kick it into the garbage can.
So the oldes piece is about 2 years old.
