It doesn't tend to matter, but most of the time I take the side that makes it easier for me to get up, so I don't disturb my partner.

The left side. That way my boyfriend can sleep on the right side which is closest to the door. I hate sleeping beside the door.

Sprawled out taking up as much room as possible. Probably because I sleep in a walk-in closet right now though.
