I like a variety of different types of restaurants. It depends on the situation and mood I am in as far as which one I want at the time.

Definitely casual. Dressing up to go to fancy restaurants stresses me out!
Some of my favorite places to grab lunch at are mom and pop diners. There are a ton of Coney Island diners where I live in Michigan and I actually really like eating there. Diner food has a special place in my heart lol

Love mom and pops as long as the food's good. We have 2 in our town 1 is really good the other is just so-so.

We usually go to places like apple bee's, carlos o' kellys, and chains like that. My favorite is Red Lobster though, I LOVE that place.

As long as I can get a manhattan, martini or other favorite cocktail or beer, I'm happy. I like relaxed dining because its comfortable and I enjoyed being served, its a special treat for me when I go out, like going to the salon.

I like fine dining the best.
But, I like some of the others, as well. I love diners, but usually get sick from the food due to my delicate constitution, ha ha!
I didn't put separate categories for diners & Mom & Pop places because I thought they fit under the casual dining category.
I should probably have put more specific choices, such as diners, deli's, small ethnic, takeout, etc. Oh well, I will get better at this the longer I practice.

As long as the food is fresh and nothing comes from a can or was prepared and frozen, I'm game. I especially love Indian and Middle Eastern!

Fine dining? Puh-lease! I don't even care about fancy food. I'm good with things like egg rolls, burgers, fries, etc.
Now I do love Red Robin, but mostly I tend to choose the China Moon over Red Robin only because of my intense love for egg rolls & the donuts though. Red Robin has the best burger I've ever ate though! It's the bacon & cheddar one.
We've been to places like Carabbas a lot & the only things I ever find that look appealing to me are fries or fried zucchini or fried something else. I just don't enjoy types of food like fish, Italian (not much anyway) or food like tempora rolls or whatever and sushi. A lot of people enjoy those types of things, but I do not like the taste of any of that. Every time I've tried those tempora rolls or sushi, I've had to spit it out. Couldn't even swallow it. So I think my tastes are really different from what most people's are. Most people would choose super fancy food places & for me, they don't really have things I find delicious. I'll take a buffet with salad, fruit, egg rolls, chicken, fries, burgers, anything that's fried, etc. anyday! lol.
