Mine was in 1991 when we switched our typing from typewriters to computers. Then they started bringing in the computer classes as well.

I'm in my late 20s. The first time I went online was at a science museum. I found it so fascinating that you could contact people in other countries. I was probably a preteen then. When I was in junior high my family was the first to get actual dial up internet. Well a few of my school friends (who were wealthy, not like us) had parents who had it but they didn't trust their children to use their computers. Of course I got into making fan sites as a silly teen girl, lol. Prior to that my family had a pretty old Apple computer that we just played Oregon Trail on, so fun!

I'd say somewhere around 2001, I don't know the exact year, but I was in 5th grade. My parents finally got a computer that was internet capable so that my sister and I could use it for homework. It was even later for my sister who was in 7th grade at the time.

My parents got their first computer in 1995. I believe I was 3 years old when my mom taught be how to get online and log in to AOL. I don't even remember what I did on the internet back then. AOL Kid's? Barbie.com? It's all a blur before Neopets.

1991, I was three and my uncle is big into fixing/making computers, so he let me fool around on the older ones all the time.
I got my first email in 1996 (age 8), it was a yahoo account, and I still use the same one!
