Up until recently, when there was a mold problem in my apartment and I had to run the dehumidifier every time I shower, I showered twice a day. Now for the sake of convenience I'm cutting it down to once a day and finding it hard to get into a routine. What time of day do you shower?

P.S. Before anyone says showering multiple times is not good for the skin.. I know this. I have a chlorine filter, and my skin is not dry to begin with. So I'm good.

don't think I'm gross for not showering every day! I don't think its necessary and even better for you not shower and wash your hair every day. Whenever I get dirty or sweaty I shower. We cut $20 off our monthly electricity by cutting down on showers. I'd say its like every couple days for me.

It varies for me. I prefer showering in the evening before I go to bed if it works out though - especially in the summer. I love to get into bed all clean, and it helps me fall asleep more quickly too.

I have super, super dry skin. I usually have to shower once every other day or something because my skin gets way too dry. When I do, it's whenever I get around to it during the day.

I usually shower in the afternoon or evening. Occasionally I'll shower in the morning, but not too often unless I'm going out somewhere special that day, and almost never on a work day (not when I have to be in by 6 A.M., which is most days).

I shower before bed...no time in the morning. Wife showers first thing every morning. We only shower at the same time, after some play time, and getting up, usually on Saturday.

Because of my hormonal issues I have a pretty bad BO. Washing in the evening would make no sense as in the morning I would go to the Uni already smelling off so in the morning it is. Washing more frequently dries my skin.

I prefer to shower at night so I go to bed all clean (and keep the sheets cleaner). If I've worked out or something I'll shower right after and skip the shower that night though. I've already got semi-dry skin and moving to a less humid climate has done crazy things to my skin and hair, so I tend to shower less in the winter and more in the summer, when I really need it from being outdoors/sweaty.
