When you got your piercings, did you keep in mind the "rule" of symmetry for health reasons? :)

Just wondering, as I have met only one person in my life who had all his piercings like that... ^^

What's unhealthy about asymmetrical piercings...?

Anyway, my ears and my retired cheek piercings were. Nothing else.

Please do tell. What's that rule of symmetry and how does it affect healthwise?

I'm also curious about this. What sort of health reasons?

Most of mine are either symmetrical or right down the center of my body. I have a dermal on my right wrist that isn't. Not sure that I know of any health risks to not being symmetrical.

I've never heard of this either. I got my ears pierced when I was a teenager. 3 in one ear and 2 in the other. I haven't worn any earrings in over 5 years though so I'm guessing they are closed up by now.
