Haven't seen anything similar to this around. I'm curious how you came up with your screen names. Mine is one that I used a few years back when I was trying to think of something unique... I am brunetteish-redheadish hence the "redhead in my screen name. I was born in 88 so there's the end of it! What about you guys?
Where did you get your screen name?

This was the last thread about it.
There's also another one or two, but with more vague titles, so they're difficult to look up.

My actual first name, plus my girlfriend's favorite number. Yeah, there are at least a few dozen people out there who can figure out who I am based on that, but that doesn't bother me at all.

It's what my mom wanted to name me

I've used this screen name for as long as I can remember. My first name's violet and I'm far from quiet so screaming violet just seemed fitting

I wish mine was more creative. It's just my nickname, a 'z' instead of 'is' and I was 31 when I joined.

I love potstickers. Need I say more?

It's a fascinating period in Mexican history--the Porfiriato

I'm a geek, and a wife, and I'm the wife of a geek. Simple enough.

It's my name, I'm not very creative.

My pet emo boy started calling me Miss Morphine after he heard the song "Lips Like Morphine" by Kill Hannah. It apparently reminds him of me and the nickname sorta stuck.

Mine is the name of the main character of Robert A. Heinlein's novell "The Star Beast".

I started off with my main online SN....but decided I wanted to change it so I couldn't be tracked down...since I recommended this site to people I know. LOL
So I just quickly changed it to the first thing that came to mind.

I'm a little twisted and finger seemed a bit appropriate because it sounded dark with twisted. My SN makes me think of sex or broken fingers. Or possibly a finger injury from rough sex. Lol
I was going to use my regular SN that I use everywhere else, but I was trying to be more discreet. If people know me personally on here, it's a result of my choosing, not because it's majorly obvious. Although, maybe it is. Lol

There was one a couple of months ago, but threads do get lost in the big pile of bits.
Mine comes from "Star Trek". Old "Beam me up, Scotty" with a vowel twist. Granted he's more of an operating engineer, but he designs stuff as well.

Currently it's just my real name, but I used to go by "Naughty Eliot" before. The naughty is self-explanatory and the Eliot was a pseudonym to preserve my anonymity.

I'm not a fan of cleaning, so some places in my house are dust bunny colonies, like behind the couch of entertainment unit.

Well as most of you probably know, it's the name of a James Bond girl. Interestingly enough, I've never seen a single Bond film in my life but I've always liked how cheeky it was. And well, it just fits here.

Mine is my real name

Well, I'm a lady who tends to dress in Gothic style clothing. Thus, I got called Lady Darkness from some people I used to hang out with; that and they used it as a double entente since I also happen to be African American...Hardy Har Har...stupid bastards. Anyway, that's the story! Now, about the "zz" at the end, well, I just like the letter Z.

Mine is more of an attitude than a name. I t doesn't mean to be deceitful; it means to be a non-conformist. Be a deviant. Be a sexual deviant.
I just dropped the "a" because typing is like an Easter egg hunt for me. "bdvnt" is shorter, and I can see those letters between my fingers when I type. I know it's lame, but that's the deal.

I've posted this before, so skip it if you've seen it.
I had an interest, actually prompted by my dad in old 1940s pulp fiction comics and graphic novels.
The character P'Gell was created by the artist Will Eisner for his classic Spirit graphic novels and news paper segments in the 1940s and 1950s. He used the character throughout his life and his very last drawing, done a few days before he died a few years ago was of this character.
Due to my... uh, manner, it became a silly nickname when I was young. I wanted to be like this femme fatale from a young age and ended up, strangely, looking a lot like her, although my waist is a lot less thin! (Hey, she's a cartoon!)
So, I'm P'Gell. It fits. If you have an interest, look up "The Spirit by Will Eisner" but DO NOT watch the movie done a few years nor the made for TV movie done in the 1980s. They are both awful and do not capture these amazing characters in any good way.

As a conservative Christian with a blog about my spiritual life - I wanted a name that couldn't be tracked down and matched to me - not because I am ashamed but because it would limit the people who read my blog to those who would not be offended (and yet didn't need to know). Plus I wanted to protect my honey's identity.
So Texas - since that is where we live - and Mama because of two things - I love love love being a mom - and I'm sorta big large - like "woah mama" when you see me (I'll have you know I'm a "most delightful plus size gal" by my husband - in spite of the fact I'm a 22/24).
