Organic PB goes in the fridge (bc it has no preservatives) and the other stuff goes in the cabinet. We've been buying Trader Joe's PB for a while now and I like it so much better. 2 total ingredients: peanuts & salt. And shockingly, it's under $2.
Wow! Great tip! Totally unaware of Trader Joe's organic PB. Thanks...

Ours is kept in the cupboard unless it's the organic kind that requires refrigeration. I just wish they would put the butter back in the fridge lol.

It would be so strange for me to keep our peanut butter in the fridge. We've always kept ours in the cupboard, although our bread stays in the fridge so it will last longer.

I'm allergic to peanut butter so I keep it as far away from myself as possible lol. But...Peanut tastes so good!

Just in the cupboard, but I tend to stay away from peanut butter. I don't want to be the size of a house and once I get on a roll with that stuff it's hard to stop....hehehe.

I've always kept my peanut butter in the fridge. I buy Crazy Richard's peanut butter, so I don't worry about the butter hardening.

Grrr my ex-mother in law always had hers in the fridge and I LOATHE this. It makes the peanut butter terrible to spread and ruins bread. I keep the open one on the counter d/t the fact that we go through a jar a week about and the rest (we are peanut butter hoarders) are kept in the cupboard.

I learned something new today! I have always kept my PB in the cupboard (or on the counter where it is sitting now...). Since going to a low carb diet however, we have switched to a natural PB (less sugars). That being said, I'm off to go put my PB in the fridge! Though, it does say it does not require refrigeration...so maybe not.

I really want to try Fit Nutz! They have a sugar free peanut butter that comes in powder form (you add water to make it PB)...it also comes in creamy and chunky! If only they didn't use PayPal...I'd have both!

I keep mine on the breadbox. However, my neighbor delighted in telling me her husband had more sinister places, like the bathroom and more bizarre uses like... yeahhhh. WTF? What was the point? I cannot even look at the guy now.

Wow, that seems exceedingly unnecessary for you to know!

Cupboard and cupboard only for me. It gets too difficult to spread in the fridge.

My dad always kept it in the fridge, I cant abide by peanut butter you cant spread!

Fridge? O_o;; Never heard of that. It's always in the cupboard in my house....because I'm a rabid PB fanatic and will eat it straight from the container.
