However; if this truly is regarding actual rice, then long-grain brown is the way to go.

Unless this totally is about junk, then I prefer white.

My favorite is long grain wild rice, or brown rice. Sometimes I don't make those at home because they take longer than white rice.

If I'm out, I prefer white rice with my meal (if it's Thai, Japanese, Chinese, etc.) but at home I really like using leftover white rice to make fried rice the next day.

I barely ever eat out, but we have a lot of rice at home.

I usually go for white Jasmine rice steamed in my cheapo rice cooker that works like a charm. Sometimes I will go for brown if I'm trying to be healthy, but I do love that Jasmine so much!
