Working At A Nude Resort--The Interview

Contributor: jedent jedent
Hello! I've been offered a job as a handiwoman at a nudest resort/spa in my area, and I've never even been to one. They've offered me a free day pass to come check the place out and see if I like "the vibe," and from what all of the Yelp reviews of this place say it turns into an orgy in the evenings.

I'm interested but I don't know what I should show up wearing, and if I should maybe wear a sarong while I am there as a guest tomorrow. It's kind of an interview? Either way I intend to enjoy myself but I want to be sure that I am professional too.

Any thoughts? Anyone ever do this kind of work?

When you visit, you could talk to some of the employees and see how their interview went. It's still a job, so I would think normal interview clothes are good, but I have no idea.

I look forward to hearing about your time working there if you decide to!

I think you should dress for the job you are interviewing. You are intervieing for a "handiwoman" so I wouldn't show up in heels and a dress, but a nice sundress or a pair of pants/shorts (not ones that show your butt cheeks or anything) and a nice top. I wouldn't expose too much skin and I would be prepared to answer questions about your feelings/comfort level with nudity. I would not bring up sex as a topic, unless they do and my response would be that you would be there as an employee and not a participant. It would be unprofessional to "party" with the people, unless you want to AND it's on your own time. Probably before you answer any suggestive questions you should say something like, "I am sure there is a policy in place so would you explain the policy to me? I would follow policy." Then if they say that everything is cool or whatever I would still stick to saying any participation would be on your own time.

Let us know--it sounds really interesting!

Oh--and wearing a bathing suit under your clothes or taking one with you would be smart because I am sure they have a pool or lake or someplace to swim.

If you are doing handy work, do you work naked with a tool belt? I'm just wondering, cuz I would ask that at the interview. Good luck with your job! Enjoy!!

Are you by chance interviewing at Sea Mtn Inn?

I don't want to out you or anything but just drew that conclusion based on this post.

The resort does cater to a swinger crowd. So yes, there is probably quite a bit of play in the evening hours there. The owner is very personable and friendly.

I would come dressed in what you would normally perform your job duties in. If that's pants and a polo, a dress, etc. I would bring a change of clothes with a clothing change so you can enjoy the resort while you are there.

IMO the day pass is to make sure you are comfortable around nudity/sex, all body types, and all ages. If they get the vibe that you aren't phased by this environment, it's a good indicator that you would work out as an employee there.
