Oof, that's a tough one! I think it would depend on the situation. If I'm really innocent, I'd rather spend life because there's always a chance my conviction would be overturned by new evidence. Otherwise, I'm really not sure how to answer! That's a tough call.

I think I'd go with prison, actually. Being able to stick around and see how things in the world changed, even though I couldn't fully experience it, would be kind of nice.
