The Dualshock3 controller for PS3 has square, triangle, X, circle, Right Stick, Left Stick, D-Pad, Start, Select, PS, L1, L2, R1, R2 = 14

The Xbox 360 controller has X, Y, A, B, Right Stick, Left Stick, D-Pad, Start, Back, Guide, Right Trigger, Left Trigger, Right Bumper, Left Bumper = 14. Though if you're picky, it also has the battery pack release button and wireless connect button
