No one knocks here usually it's phone calls, which I try to ignore, and alsio it's not sex in my case, just using toys.

But if someone is home I don't toy at all so I avoid the situation completely.

Ha! I have 4 kids and my Mom lives with me...this is a regular occurrence, I frequently answer the door with a messy, disheveled look....lol!

anytime someone knocks on the door I wait a few minutes. I always know its my mom or a family member if they don't give up becaue they KNOW I am home with my severe ibs..they think I'm trying to get out of the toilet to open the door for them,sometimes yes..but usually I make sure its someone I have to let in..I don't know how much of my time will be taken up if I jsut answere and I have to take care of myself to prepare for work and such.

Same thing as a phone call. Either it isn't urgent and they will leave a message or come/call back, or it is urgent and they will keep knocking/calling until you COME

When I was a sophomore in college, I got up to use the bathroom and when I returned, my roommate and her boyfriend had locked me out, with my laptop and textbooks inside the room, and I had an exam the next day.

I beat on the door and yelled, "ARE YOU DOING THE MATTRESS MAMBO?"
"Uumm...maybe..."
"WELL, ARE YOU DOING THE HORIZONTAL MONSTER MASH?" at which point one of our neighbors came out and let me use their laptop.

Thank goodness my roommate has a good sense of humor, because I'm a real pain in the ass to live with. If student housing is thinking about forcing someone to room with me next year, I'm going to tell them this story.

Anyway, I thought I'd share that story. You all probably think I'm a horrible person now, and you're probably right.

This has only happened to us once. We just closed on our house and we were getting ready to start moving some stuff. Well we decided to christen the house. We literally just finished when my mom decided to swing by for an impromptu visit and soon realized what was going on. MOST of the time if someone is knocking it's because it was planned. My husband loves to have quickies right before he knows someone is going to be coming over. He likes the thrill of almost getting caught. I on the other hand don't like doing it.

I hate when this happens. I usually freeze and get really anxious because I'm an RA so residents knock on my door when they're locked out or need some other kind of help. I usually hope they go away.

This has happened to me! My friend was picking me up to go to a concert, and she came over a couple of hours earlier than I expected. I assumed it was my neighbor, so we ignored the numerous knocks and just kept on.

I agree with everyone else that hates when people come by unannounced! If you didn't tell me you were coming over, I'm probably going to ignore you.

For us it depends....generally we will grin ruefully and he will go answer the door, get rid of the interloper and we take up where we left off.

Basically what we do, the way we live we have to check and make sure it's nothing important. I'd be so angry at myself if a friend really needed something and i was to busy taking care of my sex life to help, it's not like I can't just go back at it lol.
