I'll start:

I just had a dream in where I was myself in real life, and was on a flying airship. This world was sort of similar to the world of Philip Pullman's 'His Dark Materials' trilogy, and my soul was embodied as a female arctic (white) fox. She also had some red markings on her fur and could speak.

Anyway, she fell through a smallish hole with a thick anchoring rope going down that I think was used for docking normally, but they left the hatch to it open by mistake. I could feel her distress in my mind as I rushed to pull the rope up. People were shouting and panicking because they knew I'd die if I lost her.

I managed to grab the rope in enough time and dragged my female-white-fox soul back up to the deck of the airship. Her mouth was injured from where she grabbed onto the rope to hang on. My arms were aching and I noticed this transferred onto her; her front paws were painfully stiff. Right before I awoke I was aware that my mouth was bleeding as I was cradling my best friend and soul on the deck of this ship. less

My subconscious has cook up some really bizarre anxiety-type dreams, so I thought I'd have a place for everyone to post their memorable dreams/nightmares. less
