Alright, so I used the 30% coupon and bought over $250 worth of sex toys. There was a brief moment, where I suspect I squeeked, or possibly just became bug eyed, and then I went, Whoa!

I only bought five toys, but I don't regret doing so. *laugh* I bought a few from the wishlist, and a few from impulse purchase list, and frankly it makes me a bit giddy to think of their arrival.

Anyone else decide to buy a big fat chunk of toys? Or have you in the past? I'm not sure if I was just remarkably unwise or what. XD It's going to be fun as hell.

**"sticker shock" is essentially what a buyer goes through when they make an abnormally large purchase, or when they are considering making a large purchase and discover the price, often expressing disbelief over the dollar amount. I'm sure we've all felt that at some point.

I used my 30% as soon as I got it to buy 2 of my lady friends new vibrators, one of whom was getting her first vibe, and I got myself the Tera Patrick massager (total waste of money). I was a bit surprised when I saw the total--I think it was around $80--since I usually don't spend that much on a whim, but I was like, "Meh, it's a one-time gift."

I used to be the queen of impulse buys, especially when my husband and I had dual incomes. I left my job last year (I had my reasons) and since then I haven't been able to shop like I used to. Trust me, I'm going through MAJOR withdrawals, I basically used shopping to fill all the holes and cracks in my life and without being able to whip out the credit card is incredibly depressing. I miss it! I did buy toys last week but not nearly as many as I wanted. I have to be a major bargain hunter shopper now and research the toys I add to my collection extensively.

I ALMOST bought the Liberator ramp/wedge combo. But I decided to wait until (maybe) I get another 45% coupon because that would make it a lot better. I just bought my first silicone dildo w/ vibrating bullet, and it came today! Woooo! $30 for pure silicone!

What toy is that? Sounds like a real steal! (I'm resisting the urge to buy more toys for a couple of weeks, however, since I have 4 new bullets coming in, and I put some vibrating anal beads in to my assignment cart. =X)

It's a shame that the flip hole is out of stock; it looks like a great product.

And I, for one, think that the Gigi is worth every penny. Definitely my favorite luxury toy so far.

Hmmm. I dont remember the price on mine without the discount. It was about $210 with the discount. I got some lubes, an Onye, a Nea, a Mia, an X-treme G-spot bullet, and good head gel, and that's it. I was actually really disappointed with a lot of it. I guess Lelo products just arent for me. Sad that I had to spend nearly $150 on Lelo alone though just to find out they do nothing for me. I do so wish those companies had lower priced things to see how the milk tasted before you bought the whole cow. Before anyone says it, I looked in brick and mortar places around here- They had the Onye open to see how strong it was, but they don't even carry Lelo. Now I know why.

Oh no! That really sucks, my friend. They're just not strong enough?

I hope the g-spot bullet worked out for you though??? Or else I might have to really put my foot in my mouth!

Backseat Boohoo: I got the Goddess. It's $50 normally, which is pretty cheap in the first place for a pure silicone dildo, but yeah. I'm glad I got the discount.

The best Lelo is definitely a Gigi. The Onye and Mia are cute and discreet, but that cuts down on their power.

Sounds like a great vibe! I'll have to check it out, although it'll go in the queue behind a long list of other toys I'm buying before the year is out. =P

I have officlally decided to use Eden Fantasys for 9/10 of my toy purchases (right now I use it for about 6/10, with 3/10 coming from Too Timid and 1/10 coming from Babeland, Amazon, or some other retailer). They are the best, the fastest, the most reliable, and the most secure.

The Onye isn't by lelo and it's quite strong for it's size. The G spot bullet is alright. My clit is kinda weird though (its a long story and difficult to explain even with pics) and so it's hard to get it to sit right so that it feels good. It's not really my favorite though.
I will never buy another Lelo toy even if they're plated in solid gold. I can buy something shaped nicely to put inside myself for $20, and I have, and they get me off just fine. I see no reason whatsoever to spend the exorbitant amount on them that lelo charges for their insertable toys.

I have the Elise and it's brilliant. Some toys just don't work for some people, it's all a matter of preference. The Elise by Lelo was my first truly luxury vibrator, I was unbelievably excited when I got the email that it would be coming. When I first tried it I realized that it was a huge upgrade. I still love it as much as the day it arrived, it is a fantastic vibrator.

What makes their toys more expensive than similiar toys is the fact they're 100% medical grade silicone, a lot of $20 vibes are made with materials that contain chemicals and are extremely porous- chances are those type of vibes require condoms with every use because the material starts to break down so fast whereas Lelo toys could last a long time if properly cared for. Also, Lelo toys are rechargeable which hike up their prices even more. Always research before making investments, I'm sure you did already and I don't want to preach to the choir- but some toys, no matter how heavily researched just don't work.

I bought a lot! I put my order in Saturday afternoon. I have nine new items coming my way. Most are on the lower cost end though. The wait always kills me. I thought my order was going to ship today, but the shipping date is showing it will now ship tomorrow. Hopefully I'll have it before the weekend!
PS: The Flip hole came in stock today! My partner will probably end up requesting it with the new buyout option.

I'm interested in possibly purchasing a Flip Hole for my (rare but) lovely male partners. I'm anxiously awaiting your review if you do purchase it! =)

I know, its just that I researched the other toys I'd purchased, and I figured that since it didnt REALLY take that much power to get me off, I'd be fine. I understand that Lelo is 'high quality', but I simply refuse to spend nearly twice what the Nea cost on something from the same company. There are other rechargable vibrators, and other silicone vibrators, etc... And they don't cost nearly as much. Lelo has great packaging and design, but that hikes the price up FAR too much for me to justify it once again, at least not until I've got a better paying job.

I haven't gotten around to trying Fun Factory yet, no.

I bought the Lelo Ella!
I wanted to try something silicone that I could afford and it had amazing reviews.
I got it today and played with it for a while tonight (possibly more later...)
I like it but don't love it yet. My anatomy is all weird and what works for a lot of people doesn't work for me. But it definitely felt awesome. =)

That sounds awesome! lol. If I had enough cash or points I'd make a big Eden haul as well just for the heck of it. I always look up coupon codes before I ever purchase anything online because there's always a coupon code floating around somewhere. Definitely review all of your new toys!

I actually haven't! Lol. I'm a major cheapie. I always wait it out. If I find something I love, I wait several days and sometimes a month depending on how hefty the price. Then if I'm still really in love with it or if nothing else has came up suddenly (like last weeks car problem that costed me a whopping $148!) then I will go ahead and buy. I never have done the impulse purchasing thing. I've always been very good with managing money. Sometimes it's a curse though! Lol. I'll fight with myself for an entire shopping trip over a freaking dress!
