I don't see why not.

I've heard bats have the highest rate of homosexuality in all animals. I'm not sure how true this is but I believe any animal, just as humans, can be gay.

Dolphins love to have group sex.

And rape humans.

Animals are a lot less "heterosexual sex solely to procreate" as people think

It's very common for animals to have homosex when it's not mating season and some still have same sex relations during mating season.
Humans are the only species that gets uptight about homosexual tendancies. Truth is animals have sex for pleasure, not merely procreation, and that pleasure can come from either gender. People have been taught (by religion) that sex is for the purpose of procreation and traditionally any relationship which does not lead to offspring has been taboo to different groups throughout history. Bisexuality is normal in the animal kingdom and us holding ourselves to some higher moral standard is simply indicative of our superiority complex. We think we're so much better than other life forms but we're not.

Haha, it seems homosexuality is a strategy employed by nature. I wonder how conservatives would respond to this study.

Conservatives would definitely deny it if they also think things like climate change are a myth.

I don't have any pets that engage in homosexual behavior, but I do know people who do...I've seen the research and I'm thoroughly glad that it is being publicized!
