Sometimes it's because we're too tired....but sometimes we can be super tired and still get it on...

I think energy level is still the most used reason to not get naked.

Usually we don't have sex because we're too tired or one of us is not feeling well.

If we are too tired, we usually wake up and have sex in the night or early morning The most likely reason for us to totally avoid it is because one of us is super super sick. A cold doesn't stop us though!

Pretty much the only time I don't initiate or deny is if I'm hella sleepy.

honestly for a while, my partner was acting super selfish and unattractive, I didn't want to sleep with him much. Things have changed since, but I'd say one of the top reasons I've turned down sex is solely because I felt unattracted to him because of how he was acting. Also sometimes I'll just get into a work mode and sex doesn't seem appealing, same with him.

I definitely think that our number one reason not to have sex when we're together is that one of us is feeling ill. My partner found out that he was allergic to dogs about a day after we were left with one for a week, and it seriously put a major crimp in our sex life until the little rat left.

Most likely, if I turn down, it's for health or exhaustion

I only turn it down when I am not feeling well. I could be dead tired and still find the energy to have sex.

I don't refuse with my husband. Even if I am not feeling well, I do not refuse sex.

With my ex, I refused because I felt unloved/unwanted and I had no respect for him due to his actions. I might use the excuse I was tired or didn't feel well but that was not the real reason.

So none of the choices given applied to me.

Neither of us are in the mood when I'm "closed for business due to flooding". He's not into period sex, and I feel like hell while on my period.

Being tired kills my mood for sure.

Usually it's because one of us is too tired to preform, or are just not in the mood. There have been time though, where i just have felt well and that in itself killed the mood.

I've actually never turned down sex before? The only reason I can see myself refusing is being extremely ill or not feeling emotionally connected to my partner (failing relationship).

Mostly the need for sleep - my wife get's up at 5:10 AM, so she needs her sleep. When we have sex during the week, we plan it for early in the evening.

Well, I'd say health stuff/not feeling well since that's probably one of the only times I just won't do it. I have migraines & endometriosis, so there have been times where those things have prevented it. Not much anymore though.

Probably being too busy is the thing that gets in our way more than anything else. Running around for kids, working, school, etc. sometimes those things cause us to have a few days wait in between, but we never let it go on for long.

I'd have to be tired, sick or angry at my partner to not want to have sex.

Only if I'm sick, that's really the only time I'm not in the mood.

Being tired and work are big factors. Also my inability to let go of my insecurities has kicked into high gear here lately. I gained some weight and while he doesn't make me feel bad about it, I just feel gross.

I'd say if there was a reason to not have sex... It would be because I'm too tired or way too sick. I love sex so I think my attitude in those cases would be "do what you want". lol
