Did you know Hitler was a vegetarian?

That Hitler was a vegetarian? I just read an article today about a woman that was one of the tasters for Adolf (the only surviving one since the others where shot by the Russians) and it was pretty interesting. I guess it isn't shocking news, but not something that was ever talked about.

Bonus- Hitler was also an artist

I did know that he was a vegetarian and an artist - neither make him any less a monster. Like many 'facts' the information may be interesting - but it isn't useful in any way.

I had heard that, too. Do you know if it was for ethical (kind of ironic huh?!) or "health" reasons? I agree with the below that none of the facts about him make him less of a monster, but it is interesting.

I'd heard that quite some time ago and will occasionally share that information with a vegetarian friend or acquaintance. Particularly if that vegan friend is making it seem that being a vegetarian is morally superior. None of "them" have found that bit of information nearly as amusing as I do. LOL!

Oh yes, and he was an animal lover too.

This is why I don't eat brussel sprouts, own pets, or commit genocide.

Actually in a way it just shows he's the opposite, he's was human like everyone else. Yes he did a horrible things, but he was no less of a person than you are.

Anyways this wasn't made for that, it was made to be an interesting fact, like lots of other entertainment on here, sorry you didn't find it neat!

@bayosgirl that's pretty funny actually. I guess he did a lot of things ironically in this life. He was part Jewish, he was a painter but then rejected and set out to destroy types of art, he didn't look anything like his "perfect German race"

I found Hitler more an opportunist than anything. Sure, he had some characteristics, like Charisma, that enabled him to get in a seat of power, but Germany was very ripe for any crazy dictator to come by.

Yeah that is true, he really didn't have much power before he actually became the leader. If they weren't in such a bad state economically he might have never been a leader of Germany.

yes, he was a weird dude. also, i read that he was really drugged up with speed, which at the time was considered a wonder drug because it gives you energy.
