I personally think that Prostitution should be legalized in every state but controlled the way it is in Nevada.

I think if it were to be legalized it should be regulated. Clean girls, in a clean environment (drug-free, sanitary), safe environment (security), health regulations (STD checks, safe sex, birth control, health code standards), among other things. I don't condone prostitution but I do not support the life styles that tend to go with it. I think if it were legalized, properly regulated, and no longer frowned upon, it would change a lot of lives. I think it's a pipe dream, honestly.

Why do you specify girls? There are plenty of male sex workers, too.

I'm all for legalize it. It would be much better for those who work in the industry and a new tax base!

To keep up with what is going on in the toy world I watch several shows concerning sex. One of those is "Cathouse" on HBO. It shows the Moonlight Bunnie Ranch which is in Nevada. Weather we like it or not prostitution is going to happen. Making it legal with regulations would make it better. Testing for STD's and TB would help it to be safer. Taxes being paid and drug testing would help as well. I live in Texas and I can't imagine it being allowed in the open but one can hope. The town I live in has topless bars and nude bars as well. Prostitution happens behind closed doors all the time. The police look the other way. It's kinda like with the marijuana movement. Texas isn't gonna allow it any time soon. It doesn't matter if it will benifit the state. Religion rules here.

It absolutely SHOULD be legal.

The reason it is such an unsafe job right now is because it is illegal. If it were legal, these workers would be so much safer.

It's going to happen anyway, might as well make the workers as safe as humanly possible. Not to mention, sex work is awesome.

Sure, I think it's kind of weird that professional porn is legal but this isn't.

To be honest I am not sure where to go with it. Something needs to be changed with it but I am not sure what.

I don't know. I'm somewhere in the middle. I think prostitution is disgusting. Hm.. maybe I lean more towards a no..

I think legalizing it would help to regulate things health-wise. Perhaps making it to where the "providers" have to be cleared medically before they can "work" would help protect the customers. It also may help protect the workers from abuse and other dangers.
