If this is true, I would hope that models would seek legal redress. However, from what I've read online, many reputable performers who have worked for Kink say that the crew is actually very solicitous of the talent, and will periodically stop scenes, without use of safe words or any obvious signs of distress, just to make sure everyone is alright.

You make some excellent points. IF there are "accounts" of women wanting to stop and the scene was not stopped, why not provide a link with a warning to those who don't enjoy Kink Porn.

Also, as a practitioner of some kink, I can say with little issue; you don't forget your Safe Word! Not only that, "NO" is the worst safe word ever!
