Our food unfortunately is poisoning us with GMO's and flouridated water.. i want to know what the public opinion is...Wicked Wahine Says:"You know what we like to call the GMO food? Frankenfood! Didn't know if you had heard that phrase before, but it's apt, isn't it? You know, in Europe they have had all GMO ingredients shown on labels for years now. They let the public decide if they want to take the risk. But here in the States, they claim labeling will cost millions & other obfuscations, while Europe has shown that it didn't cost much for the companies & it didn't cost the consumer anything! I cannot believe how infiltrated our food supply has become with this crap!" I totally agree with that. I am becoming an organic person myself these days what would you say>??

Meh, I know someone who took a class in it and from what they told me it's not really the big bad monster it's made out to be.

Statistically, we're most likely to die in car wrecks, but that doesn't stop us from driving.
I'm not going to worry about GM foods. There are so many things out there that are "bad" for us, you can't possibly avoid them all.

Septimus, I don't think they were suggesting that we avoid every single thing that could potentially harm us. You're right; that's impossible.
I try to pick my battles. Food is important to me.
If we adopt the attitude that there is nothing wrong with eating poisonous food, what's to keep us from switching to all jelly dildos and smoking crack all day? I mean, anything could harm us, right? Why bother avoiding the bad stuff?
