Would you vote for a president candidate if you knew they were a porn star at some point in their lives?

If they were only a porn star - who just decided to run for office, no. If they were qualified for the job, and also did porn, yes.

This. If they were qualified it doesn't matter if they did that too.

At this point, I think it's more damaging to their political aspirations to have had a career as a banker.

If they were qualified, then yes. I would do everything I could to support their campaign.
However, if they were qualified but received little support from the rest of the nation, and it was a close tie between different terrible candidate and different adequate one, I would vote for the adequate one. Why waste my vote on someone who has no chance, when so much is at stake?
A lot of peoples' thinking is like mine, and I worry that few boundaries will ever be broken because of it. People perhaps shouldn't keep voting because of what they think is popular opinion, but instead vote for who they think is the best candidate. What do you guys think about that? How much should we let what we think is popular opinion influence our votes? Does this thinking hurt in the long run, or are we really just being practical?
(Sorry if this doesn't make much since or is off-topic. Sleepy.)

Yes I would I'd have more respect for not hiding the fact, wve all done something in our lives that we dont have anything to do with now; plus it has nothing to do with how they would run the country.

If they had all the right qualifications and seemed someone you could trust why not!

If they had the qualifications and experience working in politics, I don't care about being a porn star. It's not something that says lack of ethics.
