As long as their sex life doesn't involve anything illegal, I really don't care, and it wouldn't influence my vote at all.

Yeah, as long as it's not illegal, it's their business. One the other hand, a politician with an active sex life is more likely to be level headed and calm.

I have no issue with the sex lives of politicians UNLESS they are the kind of politicians who make other people's sex lives an issue. If you go around crusading about your high moral standards and trying to legislate about what folks can and can't do in their own bedrooms, then I'm sure as hell going to care when it turns out that you can't practice what you preach.
In other words, I could care less what you do in bed or who you do it with. I care if you're a hypocrite.

I don't really care about their sex lives, even if they are doing things that are illegal. It would surprise most of you what is and is not legal in most states... As long as the sex is consensual, who cares?

This is one of those things that I deem entirely irrelevant. Who someone fucks has no bearing on how they conduct themselves with foreign countries or how they intend to fix our health care system.

As long as it is safe sane consensual sec between two adults I don't care. As Elona already pointed out legal can be problematic as there are many unjust laws). i however do care about blatant hypocrisy.

I'd say yes, because it's an indicator of their personality. take newt, his sex life shows he expects to do whatever he wants and if caught, he'll feebly ask permission and then, when refused, do what's best for him. If you can't trust someone to stay faithful to his/her wife/husband how can you trust them to stay faithful to their constituents?
