I was wondering what your thoughts are about child molesters and rapists. Do you think that they should be put to death? Studies have shown that they reoffended after getting out of jail. Not to mention that they learned how not to get caught. Should they be put to death?
Sex offenders and the death penalty, what are your thoughts?

If they have reoffended, then kill them.
One time, and maybe it was a crap trial. You come to me a second time with the same issue (unrelated, but still child abuse/molestation) and that's it.
People say castrate them, but from psychology studies as my starting point, I don't think that would solve the issue. They would still want children regardless if what you do to them physically.

the problem is how sex offenders are defined. Some states classify streaking, public urination, 18 year old having sex with 17 year olds and other minor crimes as sex offenders. These are dumb crimes, but not worth death. That's the big problem with sex offender laws, the public thinks it's mainly pedophiles and create laws as such, but the definitions cast such a large net the criminal justice system punishes a lot of minor offenders (streaking, etc) with major penalties.

In many states public urination, sex with someone withing 3 or 4 years of your age, regardless of their age, if you are over 18 etc are NOT considered sex offenders. I know these people are not sex offenders in my state.

Being a sex offender requires one to engage in non-consensual acts. Most psychologists etc. believe that older teens can and do give consent for sex, while children are not capable of doing so, not knowing the actual meaning of the acts and other issues involving sexual contact with children.
Offenders who sexually assault others are what the discussion is about. Not people who take a whiz in public. Or 18 year olds who have consensual sex with 17 or 16 year olds.

I think rape should be punishable by death.

13 states require those arrested for public urination to register with the sex offender registry, 5 require those visiting prostitutes to register, 32 for flashers and streakers and 29 for teenagers who engaged in sexual acts with other teenagers. "Sex offender" is not a clear term in every state and is oftentimes used to punish "deviant" but consensual and safe sex. Especially in the south.

I can't support the death penalty. Innocent people getting put to death isn't worth executing guilty criminals. There is also a great deal of racial inequality in sentencing. Punishment for rapists should be harsh, but not death.

I do believe there is a type of chemical castration that can be reversed, so that, along with life imprisonment, is what I believe should be done.

That's because, contrary to popular belief, men's brains aren't in their dicks.

It's also been shown that repeat pedophiles are significantly less likely to re-offend when they get older (think 65).
I am against the death penalty for every crime. I do not think our justice system is fair enough to kill people. There is a huge racial and socioeconomic inequality in sentencing.

For all violent sexual crimes, I am for life imprisonment. For sexual contact with pre-pubescent or pubescent children, I am for life imprisonment.
