As long as sex is between two consenting adults, I don't care if money is exchanged.

I would totally support legal prostitution... legal means out in the open with safeguards, protection, and legitimacy.

Think of all the careers/jobs where people are selling their physical talent.... everyone should have that right no matter what their "talent".

Absolutely.

If prostitution were legal, it would be much easier for sex workers to go to the police or hospital if they experience abuse. They wouldn't be able to be controlled with the threat of jail time hanging over their heads, and they would be able to sue for things like fair pay.

I think they should. It'd keep the sex workers safe.

Absolutely not. It is much different than dates which involve a lot of money. That is courting. It enhanced crime in a society.
although i respect your opinion and yes many men 'court' many others 'play' and spending $100 getting a girl pissed drunk so you can take her home and have sex with her is only different in a negative way- I'd much rather they spent $50 for a quick blow job than date rape.

after 5 years on the street right across the water from vancouver during the pickton rape/murder/mutilation trials (and come to think of it the murders themselves) I would much rather have been indoors. Prostitution is not illegal in Canada but solicitation is. Personally I would love to have a feminist (yes there is such a thing) escort agency catering to men AND women, gay/bi/straight and transgendered. that way condoms would ALWAYS be used.

It's degrading and disgusting. So no, it should not be legalized.

I say yes, as long as it is regulated by the government for the health and safety of ALL parties involved.

I believe that prostitution, as long all parties are consenting adults, is perfectly legitimate and should be legalized.

We let others do more ridiculous things without controlling it.

Provided there are some time and place regulations, I see no problem with decriminializing

Surely there are other, better reasons. Lots of stuff is degrading and disgusting.

I'm pretty sure it's called sex trafficking when children or a person is being forced into it which isn't the same as someone who does it because they want to and has full control of what goes on and happens to their body

im for it just as much as legalizing marijuana. people are already doing it. might as well have them pay taxes...everyone else witha job has to, why not them..??

Yes. If you legalize it, you can regulate it, make it safe, and tax it.
