After reading someone's comment wherein they stated someone was bisensual, my head just about exploded. Not because of the context of the conversation itself, but because it's yet another @#$% label I have to learn the definition of - anyone else sick of the myriad of labels that have no concrete definition?

Should we start a petition to just call people 'sexual' and leave it at that?

I agree completely. People should say what they mean. Unfortunately, labels like these are taking the place of true respect and understanding in our society. People are so easily offended, it seems, and I think that's a shame.

Honestly, I can't keep up with what is what, who is who, and what label is for what person. I mean it's pretty simple. I like men. I'm a female. Or I like men and I am a man or I like em' all! I don't think it's something that immediately needs new names for. I know someone who is constantly being degraded because he is a bit feminine. People always ask him if he's gay and they make cruel jokes. It's young teen fam member of mine and I hate when I hear kids saying things like that. He simply says, I don't like boys, I don't like girls. I think being a kid, he handles it well when it comes to responding to the crap. I honestly am beginning to think people just want to make up a new name for everthing! Just like we have different tastes in music, we also have diff. tastes in people. I don't have a label for the types of music I like there are so many different ones. People shouldn't have a label of what kind of people they prefer.
