TOTALLY! I love fanfiction.

i'm up for reading all kinds, but my standbys are usually just specific favorite pairings. Right now I'm mostly into Buffy! There's some great smut written by Buffy/Spike authors in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer fandom.

Oh I love Buffy fanfiction too! I'm super into Supernatural slash fiction right now. adultfanfiction.net has good fics.

I gotta recommend you check out link kiddo, the overall quality is much higher than either of those sites, anyway.

Anyway, though, on topic, I mostly read slash, and recently a whole of lot of Valjean/Javert (Les Mis) ghjkd

I read a lot of fanfic. I second the rec for Ao3 , although livejournal/dreamwith are great community based sources for fic by fandom.

I have been reading, writing, and editing fanfic for over 15 years now, though I totally count those Star Trek novels I read growing up as fanfic, too Right now my big fandom is Supernatural. In all my fandoms I am centered mostly in slash. Fandom has taught me so much over the years and I credit it for also starting my pseudonym's mainstream erotica writing career.

I love fanfics. But I am very picky when it comes to them. If the author doesn't keep the characters in character at all or even the slightest little bit out of character then its just not good fanfic, even if its smutt and the like. That's probably my biggest pet-peeve for fanfiction. But it makes the ones that keep them in character all that much better.

I've been trying my hand at writing some for a few of my favorite shows but I've never actually published anything online - one day though, one day.
