Since I write erotica under a pseudonym, with varying heat levels, it made me curious as to what fellow Eden members gravitate toward. Do you like the "close the door" sweet stories or "show me everything in graphic detail" erotica?
What heat level of print erotica do you go for?

This is a tough one. It honestly depends on what sort of erotica it is. I like my "Gay Male" erotica to be a 4 on your scale, but if it's "First Time" or "Lesbian" a 3 will suffice. Then there's the author's writing style to take into consideration; if it's well written I'll be satisfied with nothing but a hint of intimacy, but I don't care for XXX action if the story was tossed together like a load of laundry.

I personally prefer detail. Not just in the sex parts of the story, but in the work as a whole.

It varies, depending on my mood.

Well, I like to read most different heat levels, but I specialize in #3 and #4. You can read a lot of the poetry and stories I've either written or edited on my site Les Amuse-Bouches

erotica writer myself, and i tend towards 4 or 3 in both what i write and what i read. not that i don't mind more plot-focused works with a few sex scenes in them, but when i just want to jerk off those aren't the ones i'll go for.

A 4 for sure, otherwise it's just another romance novel for me.

I like graphic stuff! Mostly 3-4

I want as many details in my books as other people have in their movies. I want it all hot and heavy, turn me on and lets have a good time. I think reading erotica is just another form of foreplay.
