My husband has a jackass-ness about him. He comes off as a bit over confident and like he's bad news. My mom used to call him "creepy." LOL I thought he was hot but too much trouble to get involved with. The more I got to know him the more I liked him. I have a thing for bad boys. He's tamed down a good bit from when he was in his early twenties, but he still has a bad boy streak that I love.

I actually thought my current boyfriend hated me before we started dating! As it turns out he was just quite nervous because he thought I was out of his league! He's been a sweetheart (for the most part) since we started dating and he's stayed that way for two years now!

The first time I saw him, he stood out to me, but I mentally passed him up for dating. He seemed like he was too young for me (although we are actually the same age. He was an active swimmer then which gave him a very lean, younger look). But he just seemed to be so...THERE. He was always in my notice for some reason.

I thought he was quiet, sweet, considerate, considerate, and caring. He was always helpful and thought of others. I got a yellow rose from his when we were friends with a card signed "just because".

At 11 years my junior - I just saw her as a 'cute young thing' with a sense of adventure and a bright mind. I was right about everything but the sense of adventure - she's somewhat conservative - especially with trying new things sexually.

We actually met online and started texting right away and hit it off. The following day is when I really knew I was going to do whatever it took to snatch this boy up because he was the biggest sweetheart I'd ever met! And such a cutie, everything I ever wanted/needed in a partner! He was worth driving 2 hours to and then 2 hours back from, 2 days in a row EVERY WEEK for 2 full months (until he moved in to my place).

He had this "old curmudgeon" air about him that he was really proud of. But, actually, he's so kind, warm, loving and sensitive and GOOFY! So very, very goofy and silly. I was very pleasantly surprised to find out how silly he is.

Omg I hated him to behonest. He was loud, rude, Southern grade A REDNECK. hahah. But the day he stood up for me was the day I fell in love with his redneck ass. 2 years later and we are still sooooo in love.

She sent me a message and I was super excited because it was the first worthwhile message I had received in a long time and I thought she was really interesting and was really looking forward to talking to her more and I still do!

I honestly knew someday I would end up with him, even though he was dating my friend at the time. We started dating a few months later and have been together ever since. In Sept that will be 21 years, I've spent more of my life with him than without him.

My first thought was wow I have to get to know him. I'm so happy that I did. There isn't a day that he doesn't make me smile! He's the best!
