I didn't wait it was definitely before with my ex-husband. The test driving thing before you buy it only works to some extent! Although the sex was alright before marriage, it progressively got worse until I honestly couldn't stand for him to touch me. So I guess the test driving stage has to be a very long time

Before, but our first time(my first time as well) was only about 3 weeks before he proposed, and 2 months before we got married.
