Is it possible to be inlove with more than one person at the same time? If so wouldn't you love one person more than the other? Maybe even a little bit? Because i think that even if you are inlove with atleast 2 people, you must have more love or feelings for one of them. Anybody have any stories? Or does anybody think that im right about this? You will always love one more than the other.

If you have siblings you've probably heard your parents say, at least once, that they love you both the same just differently. It is possible to love more than one person at a time and to love them equally but differently. There are several people on this forum that are in polyamorous relationships and feel they love each of their partners equally, but again differently. Meaning each partner has qualities the person values and appreciates, but very rarely are the two people exactly alike or even very, very similar.

I don't personally believe it is possible to be "in love" with more than one person, though there are several polyamorous people who would disagree with me. I know that when I'm in love with someone, I often find I don't even look at anyone else, and at the very most only develop a mild crush that goes away the instant I am reminded of how much I love the person I am with. But I don't know about all that other stuff because polyamory isn't my thing ^^;;

It's certainly not possible for me - sexual love anyway. If I have strong feelings for one other's just don't exist..... they aren't a consideration at all.

I have been guilty of cheating in the past, and while I was already falling in love with my current guy while I was still with my ex, I had been falling OUT of love with my ex for quite a while before. So I don't have any personal experience with being in love with two people at the same time.

For me, love is all consuming. When I'm really in love with someone, they're the only person I see. I can appreciate and care for another person, though. Me being in love with two people would require waaaay too much energy on my part.

It definitely depends on the person. For me, no, it is not possible for me to be in love with more than 1 person at a time. I have a very monogamous nature, so when I'm in love with someone, I only have eyes and love for them. I don't even look at anyone else. But as has been mentioned, there are many folks here (and not here) who are polyamorous, and they can definitely be in love with more than one person at a time. So there is no universal answer to this question, it depends on how you personally work and what makes you tick.
