College students: how often do you sleep in the same bed with your partner?

Contributor: novanilla novanilla
I'm really curious about how often other college students who are dating sleep together at night, particularly those who live on campus and do NOT officially live with their partner in the same dorm room or apartment. So, on average, how many nights per week do/did you usually sleep together? (if you graduated, only answer if it was more recently, such as in the last 5 years)

Didn't graduate, but I fit your timeline. When things were serious, it was probably 5 days out of the week that one of was at the other's dorm.

We basically lived with each other from the second month of freshman year until now. Those damn beds are small. I don't know how we did it for 2 years. Then we lived off campus.

I picked one night a week, but that is kind of an exaggeration. When I was in college (within the last 5 years), and my S.O. lived in the dorm, I basically would go to bed with him every night, and then wake up around midnight - 1 and drive home to spend the rest of the night.

It was not ideal, but I still lived with my parents at the time and it made it easier for me.

Usually one night, but sometimes two. I did live off campus, so that gave me a lot more space. On campus, maybe once every few weeks

Every night. We've lived together since I moved out of the dorms.

The last time I wasn't in a LDR, we slept in the same bed every night unless I had a test the next morning (I couldn't focus on studying if she was right next to me). Next year, I might be living with my bf at his college (I will have graduated) and I'm assuming it will be similar.

My boyfriend doesn't go to the same school as me and lives about an hour away but we try and sleep in the same bed once or twice a week when we can visit each other. If we lived closer it would probably be every night.

When I lived in dorms it was harder because we had roommates and had to make sure they were either gone or were okay with it. But once you get your own place or a single, it changes.

In college, my ex and I would sleep together around once a week. It really depended on when my roommate was gone.

My roommate usually slept down the hall with her boyfriend. I slept in our room with mine.

Early on, it was only occasionally. Then it grew to every weekend. Then it grew to every weekend, plus days when I didn't have class early in the morning. Then most days. Now (about a year and a half into the relationship) it's every day. I would honestly feel very awkward now sleeping in my own room.
