Other? I guess it depends on what you consider the "right" and "left". If you are looking down on the bed, the right and left are different from the right and left as if you were laying down on your back...some people have different view on how to look at the left and right of the bed. If you look down at it, I like the left

It depends on the situation and what bed I'm sleeping in. If I'm not really supposed to be there, I sleep in the farthest spot from the door, any other time, I take the side of the bed closest to the door, so I have a clear view of it and I'm the first one seen if someone comes in. Also, for practicality's sake, I'm generally on the side away from the wall, or else I'll sleep-cuddle my lover right out of bed.

When I am sleeping alone, I will sleep right in the middle of the bed. If I am not alone, I will sleep on either side.

I always sleep on the left. BUT this depends on the position of the door in the room and the position of the bed. I have a thing about 'intruders'. So I’m always sleeping in relation to those two factors lol. I’m a weirdo I know.

In my bed, I prefer the right. It's in the center of the room, but I just randomly prefer that side. In my boyfriend's bed, I prefer the left since the right side is against the wall. I like being able to get up to pee without having to climb over him, and he likes sleeping by the wall for some reason (I think he feels more protected?) so it works perfectly.

I prefer the side of the bed that is away from the window, but facing the door. I don't care which side it is, I don't want to be near the window. Also, I prefer to have my back to the wall. I've never had anything happen, so I'm not sure why it has to be that way for me to feel secure, but that's just how I am.

Generally, I seem to gravitate to the right side of the bed. I'm not especially particular, nor do I see it as "MY side". I'm flexible!

Both sides of my bed are next to walls now, really. One side also has a nightstand. I seem to gravitate towards that side now.

I pick what side of the bed I want based on the position of the bed in the room. My last few beds I've picked the right side (while being in the bed), but when my husband and I were out on our own for a few months I was explaining to him that I would have picked the other side of the bed if it had been in a different spot in the room.

It depends on where the bed is in the room. We move it around on occasion, but I sleep on the same side mattress. It also depends on what way you are looking at it. But overall, I sleep to the side that is closest to the door because I have two kids and it is easier to come to me if they wake up in the middle of the night if I'm closest to the door. Same is true if I have to go in their room to put them back to sleep.

I dont mind what side I'm on as long as I'm next to the wall. Our bed is always up against a wall. The only time that will change is if I'm not feeling well and sleep on our couch.

When sleeping with my partner, it doesn't matter if it's the left or right as long as it's not against the wall. In both of our rooms, though, when laying in the bed looking at the ceiling, it's the right side of the bed that is not against the wall. When I'm sleeping alone, I don't have a side.

Since we've been together we haven't slept on opposite sides of the bed yet, it would just be too weird.
