Do you have a set of chores that you do, and a set your significant other does? or do you both just do what needs doing?
Do you split chores?

We generally split things up, we don't complicate it or plan it out. I usually deal with the trash, recyclables plastics/cardboard/pap er etc. She always cleans the bathroom, she does a good job at that. I would seriously fail at cleaning the bathroom as most men do. I vacuum generally, we both share the dishes, usually i'll do a load, then she will and back and forth etc.

I do laundry, he cleans, we both do yard work. It's fairly equitable

My husband does the laundry and I do the cooking, just worked out that way. Whoever has the day off from work does the housework, on the weekends we split up what little is left.

He goes to work and goes to the store and handles paying any bills that need to be dropped off instead of mailed. I cook, clean and keep is libido happy. I like it that way.

Im a stay at home mom, so I usually do most of it, but since he only works four days a week, there are times we split them up. Whatever has to be done, we see it and do it. Of course, with some gentle SHOVING from me to get his butt in gear though LOL

My husband tries to help with everything, but he screws a lot of stuff up so I end up doing more. >_>

We split chores, but my husband does a lot more than I.

I am just getting ready to live with my girlfriend so I dont know yet. I hope we will split them and she says we will, but I kind of feel like thats a non truth. I may end up doing mot of everything. I'll give it a chance but I'm not sure if i will have the patience to wait until she gets around to it.

Lol yea that is the fun part waiting for it to get done. If you can both stay on top of it as much as possible then it's not so bad. But when only one person is cleaning it can really affect the relationship sometimes. If I was stuck doing all the chores I would be pissed and crack the whip lol.

We do what needs to be done, but there are things that I gravitate towards and vice versa. Nothing really assigned, but we do have a nice pattern.

We both just do whatever we see needs to be done. No specific chores set in stone.

We'll split them up for the most part, but there are a few set things that each of us do all the time.

It really depends on what is going on in our lives. If one of the guys is home off work for whatever reason then we split it all up and do what we are able. If they are both working then it falls to whomever gets it!

Cat E.
We share chores.

Not in a very organized way, and we each have things we do on our own, but we switch often enough.

We don't live in the same house but when I'm over I help do things like vacuum his room, do his laundry, etc and when he's over he helps me throw out the trash. If we were to live in the same house though I'd hope whoever sees something that needs doing just does it
