Do you TEXT your significant other....if you are older, that is?

Contributor: Bignuf Bignuf
We are in our fifties. Been married over 30 years. We text daily...several times a day, in fact.

Do others our age text? Do others OLDER then us use TEXT???

I know younger folks sure do, and the folks in their teens to thirty, it is a given, I believe.

I am wondering, however, how old is "too old to be comfortable with this technology", or is EVERYONE doing it???

My mom texts my dad but not on a regular basis.. only when she can't call him cause he's in a meeting. So first hand I've seen the older generations texting.. come to think of it.. yeah all my aunts and uncles (married) text each other.

I'm 57 and she's 46. We text - but mostly practical stuff. We've tried sexting - it's OK and we still do it. Come to think of it's like kegals we should do it more!

We're in our late 40's, and we choose not to text. It has nothing to do with technology, we're just not into this kind of communication, we prefer verbal connection!
