Have you ever compared your current partner to your ex?

I was talking to my ex when i met my now hubby. we were friends for a long time and he was there for me throughout my breakup but i often times find myself wishing he was more like my ex.

Seeing as I don't have any exes to compare my partner to, nope. But I am pretty sure that if I did I would make some comparisons (both good and bad) between partners that I'd had long term relationships with. I think it's probably only natural to want to find the best traits in each person while mitigating the ones that really don't work for you.
