I'd be annoyed too...but men aren't great with their feelings. He may just be expressing himself the best way he knows how to.

it depends maybe he's feeling lonely needs more attention AND if you feel annoyed you could be pushing him away without meaning to then he feels he needs to reach out farther. Or you guys are not a good match. that my more simple way of looking at it sometime the simplest answer is the correct one.

I'm glad that you two were able to talk about it and get it figured out, at last to some degree.

I'm the opposite of a lot of you. It would make me feel special, even if he did it a million times. I've been in a marriage where there was no emotion, no love, no special feelings, etc. and every day was just plain HARD because I felt like he didn't care about me.

While being overly clinging and the opposite (totally distant) aren't healthy in a relationship, I would take someone showing me that they care and miss me over being distant and making me question if they even think about me.

Just how I am though!

I wouldn't know, I don't get any at all, not even and I Love you once a day or even a hug, 10 texts a day is something I would look forward to.
