I was listening to the song "I'd Choose You Again" by the Forrester Sisters and I was wondering how many of you felt the same. These are the lyrics:

Ok so as corny as it sounds and despite all the problems we have had I would choose BOTH my guys again. And again and again. In fact I plan to...I believe in reincarnation and they aren't getting away from me...ever!

Seriously though I would choose them again even knowing the problems we'd have, it's been a bumpy ride but the smooth bits have been amazing.

LONG TERM dang it TERM...type in the dark and see what it gets ya.....

After 20 years I would do it all over. If it wasn't for her I would not be were I am today or have my wonderful two kids!

I would make some small changes but nothing to major.

9 years together and I would absolutely choose him again. If there was a way to learn what we learned from the heartache we've experienced without experiencing the hard parts, I would love to not have to go through that again. But, I also believe that without the heartaches you don't know just how happy and full of love you can be for each other. We are 100% right for each other. True soul mates.

I'd choose my guy again for sure. Without him I don't think I'd have ever pursued sex toys since he kinda nudged me in that direction along with my dad's gf, saying it was okay and natural. He also gives me lots of love and support, something my family doesn't really give to me. It just sucks the chances of us actually being together in the future (it's a long distance relationship) are very very slim.

I would definitely choose my hubby again!! He has taught me sooooo much about sex and is the best sexual partner I have ever been with! He isn't afraid to try anything new or something not so new! There isn't really anything he hasn't done, so it's mainly me that it's new to! He's not jealous at all and has taught me not to be and is sooooo open!!! We never have a dull moment when it comes to our lives and our bedroom! Other ex's never again, now that I've met my hubby! LOL

I'd choose him again, but after nearly 20 years together I look back and know I'd do things differently. When we started out I was so shy and awkward about my body that I wasted too many years on routine sex because I was too stupid to say what I really wanted. Knowing what I know now, I'd be far more outspoken and adventurous right from the start. I would have been more outspoken non-sexually too, because I had a tendency to just shut up and let things go that bothered me, and we had to learn to communicate when those things threatened the relationship years later.

I'd most likely choose him again, that is if everything happened the same prior to meeting him. It was such a happenstance that we met that everything would have to go just right. The timing was bad or good depending on how you look at it. I think I would have waited a little longer to get involved but would have eventually again.

Did that even make sense? LOL basically yes, I would choose him again-I just would have given myself more time to get my heart in order before getting involved.

I think everything happens for a reason. I like to realize every relationship is not perfect, everyone has their ups & downs. So The only thing I'd change is I'd choose him first before all the others who broke my heart.

I don't know that song, but the lyrics are just beautiful! Despite some rough times in the last 2 decades + and sometimes thinking we wouldn't make it, we're still together, and I know we'd choose each other again, despite our differences.

I originally met him when I was a child and he was a teenage punk, (we had a stick fight over a fort at a local park) then I started dating him when I was in High School, not realizing until years later we had met as children. I was too inexperienced to make a Life Decision then, and he wanted to sow some wild oats, too, so we started an Open Relationship. When I was almost done with college, we became monogamous, then eventually got married. Because of, or in spite of all this, I think we belong together. DO NOT ask me during PMS week, though.

I really wish the people who think people with high sex drives, perhaps unusual set ups, many partners, and who love sex toys and "out of the ordinary sex" "can't love" and aren't able to settle down with a lover would be able to see this thread!
