How many of you in long tern relationships would choose their current partner or partners again?

YES! I would no other man could replace him or do what he does. He's one of a kind. I would choose him over and over again.

I was very tempted to answer, "I didn't choose him/her in the first place he/she just followed me home like a lost puppy." Simply because I find that answer hilarious, but it would not be fair to my wonderful husband.

This COULD be a loaded question, with us both sitting here. However, after over 30 years of a very happy marriage, I can honestly still say, and he is agreeing, that there is a HUGE, HUGE element of CHANCE in who you end up with, and why. Meet someone on a day they are in a crappy mood and that might be the end of anything ever going further. Meet that same person after they have just had an amazing day, and WOW "they have a great personality"...etc. A million more complex variables go into WHO we all end up with. We also all grow and learn and CHANGE....SO.....would we both end up with the same partner? WHO THE HECK KNOWS. Would we CHOOSE to be with this same person, if given the choice. SURE...but that is KNOWING we have had a great life together. Without knowing that, would we make the same choice??? Maybe not.

The bottom line is that if you really think this out, it means you KNOW IN ADVANCE what the future would hold for you and your S.O. However, reality never works that way.

GREAT question.

I love my boyfriend but I think I would do many things differently. Things may not work out if I had done things how I should have instead of how I did.

I would not want to live a life in which I couldn't choose him again. My husband is my perfect match. He is my everything and we have the most amazing daughter. I am a very lucky woman.

I definitely would. We've had our issues, especially in the beginning, but that's all added up to where we are now, loving each other. She's worth it.
