When it's not about dating and getting the woman laid (I don't do that TO get laid.) For those that are already in a relationship, or married, do you guys go to the restaurant sometimes? For the sake of having a good dinner or lunch, or just having a date with your partner. If not, why not? If you could afford it would you do it every few days?

We go when there is a special occasion, like an anniversary. Or when we are travelling, but not necessarily so - some hotels have guest kitchens. Sometimes it's just a teahouse, which is more romantic than a restaurant. On other days we get chinese food, I have more trust in them than some of the local ones!

If I could afford it, I wouldn't go more often either, nothing beats home cooked stuff especially if we do it together! And the bed is not too far from the kitchen either

We go out to eat about every 2 weeks, and yes if we are able to go out to eat more we wood.

We don't live together right now but when we're staying together, we go out to eat pretty often when we can afford it. Him and I love the same foods and we both love eating out together. We always have such a great time, so we go out for both each other's company and for the great food

I'd say about 3 times a month when we both have enough money. If we had more, we'd go out more though

We go out every few weeks, more if there are special occassions. We might go more, but we have 2 kids & cooking at home and all of us eating together at the dinner table is very important to us.

Every single week, at least once, in my last relationship.
The guy I'm into now loves going out just as much I do too though. Of course, I freakin' love cooking at home too. It's about a good balance.

We go sometimes. I think if we lived together Daniel would cook more.

Maybe once a month now. We used to go out to dinner or breakfast at least once or twice a week, but with the economy and me being out of work, it's much more difficult to justify the expense.

One of our children graduated University yesterday (YAY! Now, on to Grad school!) and we went to a Pan Asian restaurant near the college. It had an amazing menu.

I have never seen some of these things on menus before (and we eat a lot of Asian food) including Durian. I've never even seen Durian in the USA before. (It's a fruit from South East Asia, that has the aroma of rotting flesh. But, supposedly if you can get past the smell its supposed to be amazing. We considered ordering it, then chickened out at the last minute. )

We cook at home a lot, but I do miss going out more.

My husband and I go out twice a week for social gatherings, but we don't always get food while we're out. Tuesdays we'll go to a local tavern for a drink or two, and Thursdays we go to Denny's with a large group of people.

If I had more time in the evenings I'd cook a lot more.

We do a lot of cooking at home but I like to go to a restaurant sometimes and treat ourselves. We will go once a week or two depending on what's going on.

We used to go out 1 to 3 times a week, but we could afford it then. Friday night was a given, and sometimes Saturday or Sunday morning for breakfast. Sometimes we would go out Saturday night as well.

We, well, my wife, have always cooked at home otherwise. We have always felt that a family meal was important, so most every other supper was at the dining table all together. Oh and BTW, my wife is a GREAT cook! I "help", usually by staying out of the way, but we will have pleasant chit-chat while the meal is being prepared. If I am BBQing, which I do a LOT, then of course, I'm in and out tending the meat.

Now Friday night is still a no-cook night, but it usually involves something being delivered (and in a small town, there aren't a lot of choices. ) Otherwise, we go out once every 4 to 6 weeks, depending on the weather.

We have a crazy busy life, so we eat out fairly regularly. We would rather eat together, regardless of how/where that happens.

We go out to a restaurant a few times per week. Our relationship is still new and we just moved in together so the novelty of eatin our has not worn off yet! We do have plans of cooking together a lot more in the near future though.

We eat out a lot. maybe 3 times a week. Neither one of us knows much about cooking, so that is why. Also he is a super picky eater, so being at a restraunt helps because he can choose what to eat.

I love eating out!! Getting waited on, no dirty dishes to wash! However, it gets pricey, esp w/two kids! Bf and I usually have lunch out together at least once a week. We will do pizza w/the kids on payday. He has never taken me to a fancy restaurant though and Im kind of sad about that...

We go to a really nice sit down restaurant on the 16th of every month (we began dating on the 16th so we call it our month-aversary dinner).

We also go to nice sit down restaurants for holidays and special occasions. For 6month/yearly anniversaries we do something EXTRA special with dinner.

Then various times through the month we will go to nice sit down places like a TGIFridays or something, or a buffet. And then fast food whenever we don't feel like cooking.
