Like, together as in "closer" or together as in just "how we got together"?
I knew my husband was the right man for me the first time we kissed and he pulled my hair. I had relationships before where I'd begged for 1yr+ for that to happen and nada. He did it instinctively with me, even though he said he usually didn't do that. He said "it felt like the right thing to do."
As for things I might not have known before, I think it's been more for him than me on that. I've always known I liked harder play even if I didn't get it often from the people I dated before him. However, if I wasn't with him I wouldn't be able to explore new levels of it. So I kinda go "hey...I was reading about XYZ..." and wait to see how he reacts. If it isn't a look of horror (it's usually not), then we add it to my little checklist of "stuff that's okay to do." It's not really that I've discovered new things because I knew of them before, but now I get to actually do them.
